Q2 Agile Success Tour
Various posts in this blog (click, for example, here, here, and here) brought up noteworthy threads from the Rally Agile Success Tour events in Denver, Los Angeles and New York. The Rally team and I are gearing up now for the following events:
- June 4, 2009 in Santa Clara, CA
- June 25, 2009 in Atlanta, GA
- July 23, 2009 in Washington, DC
I have started teleconferencing with the panelists in these three cities. It is clear even at this stage of the preparations we will have an eclectic mix of panelists and various intriguing topics that might not have been fully addressed during Q1. For example, Agile Support for Customer Support is a topic that will be discussed in the Washington, DC event.
A I did during Q1, I will report here highlights from the events. Stay tuned…
Israel,
I am so grateful for your passion and participation with the Rally Agile Success Tours. I am looking forward to being actively involved in the Santa Clara event and the Washington DC event. I have been visiting a variety of customers and have most recently come from the first Lean Kanban Conference in Miami, FL. There is a lot for all of us to share in these upcoming Rally events. Thanks for promoting the events, and thanks for continuing to be so engaged in helping teams be successful with Agile.

Thanks for the very kind words, Jean!
This is a very difficult time for many companies and numerous software engineers. I really believe doing better software can change things big time. We are staring at an unprecedented opportunity to make software at a fraction of the traditional cost. As Agile/Lean software becomes pervasive, it could have an impact similar to that produced by cheap oil in the 50’s: major boost to the economy.
